    1.    Principal Chiropractor Dr Bredin uses very gentle techniques to adjust the spine and specializes in one of the most popular ‘low force’ techniques in the world, utilizing an adjustment instrument called an Activator

The Activator Methods Adjusting Instrument is a handheld spring-loaded tool that delivers a consistent low-force, high-speed thrust.

Because it’s many times faster than adjustments delivered by hand, the body rarely tightens to resist, making adjustments comfortable and effective.

This method of adjusting will not usually elicit the cracking or popping noise (cavitation), but it is just as effective as other methods of correcting subluxations.

This instrument is often useful in babies, the elderly and those who prefer gentle techniques.

Dr Bredin will also often refer you to one of our massage therapists if Soft Tissue therapy is required to help relax tight muscles which are in turn restricting the spine. She will also advise you on stretches and exercises you can do at home to help your body support your spine as it changes.
